Meat South West at the Taste of the West Tradeshow on 21st and 22nd April. 

Meat South West have linked up with Taste of the West to hold seminars on caracse utilisation, product developement and the supply chain at their Trade Show on 21st and 22nd April at Westpoint, Exeter. 

The show itself is a must for all within the industry to showcase the outstanding quality, diversity and richness of the food and drink from the South West.  The event should attract retailers, the food service sector and the public procurement sector.  With an increased consumer demand for local food this is a must! Fore more information go to www.tasteofthewesttradeshow.co.uk

Meat South West will be on stand E2/F3 with some examples of the regions meat industry - so come and meet us and see if we can help your business!

The seminars will be held in the seminar room on both days at 11am and will be run by Nigel Yeo Catering Butchery Manager for Philip Dennis Foodservice and will illustrate the opportunities of adding value with their Exmoor beef range and award-winning Exmoor burger.  The seminars are designed to give ideas and guidance to help understand the carcase and the supply chain better and develop new innovative methods of utilising the whole carcase, including the cheaper cuts. The seminars will be followed by cooking demonstrations showing new innovative ways of utilising the cheaper parts of the carcase to add value and ultimately greater profit margins.  The cooking demonstrations will commence at 12.45pm on both days.
