CCFRA Food Safety Management Conference - Farm to Fork - 20th October 2008.

Gloucestershire Food Vision are promoting the Food Safety Management Conference on 20th October 2008, which will be of interest to anyone in the meat chain.

Food and drink safety management systems, particularly HACCP, as implemented by the industry, continue to evolve. The drivers for changes in best practice include: new EU legislation, implementation of international standards such as ISO2200, generic guides and industry standards, greater focus on risk assessment and prerequisite programmes that underpin HACCP, and adoption of a HACCP approach throughout the food. Special reference will be made to the implementation of food safety management systems in the whole food chain from primary production to retailing. The conference content incudes:- Risk assessment in HACCP ISO22000, Prerequisite programmes, HACCP for smaller businesses, HACCP in primary production HACCP in retailing and  the latest developments in HACCP guidance.
