at the National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh, Coventry, which is at the
heart of the agricultural industry. The NAC is a prime site for this unique
exhibition and comprehensive seminar programme, with the move
bringing the show closer to more arable and livestock farmers and
industry professionals.
“This year the Agricultural Buildings Show is building on its past success,
bringing together a wide range of exhibitors that will help visitors to find
out about all aspects of the industry,” said Andrew Newbold, of organiser,
Fusion Events.
“A new farm building - for housing stock, grain storage or a milking
parlour - is probably the largest investment a farm is likely to make in a
generation. The Agricultural Buildings Show includes a wide range of
experts who can discuss all aspects of the build from planning and design
right through to eventual construction.”
As well as details about the fabric of the actual building, there is also a
wide range of information about less obvious, but nonetheless essential
components such as concrete suppliers and other materials and
installations.
This year’s comprehensive seminar programme, which is included in the
ticket price and runs throughout the day, provides in-depth information
from expert speakers. This wide range of topical talks will help delegates
to keep abreast of changing legislation, providing advice on safe and
secure storage of liquids as well as help farms ensure they are complying
with NVZ regulations.
Other topics look at converting old buildings to bring in profit from new
business as well as case studies on how and why farms have invested in
new dairy and arable facilities.
The Agricultural Buildings show is the only event of its type in the UK,
which brings together the entire industry in one place. It’s a must visit
event everyone looking at investing and improving farm infrastructure.
