Venue: AV8 followed by AD demo at Kemble Farm, Gloucestershire
This important event, aimed at farmers and rural businesses, will cover a range of topics including an overview of the anaerobic digestion process, optimum substrate composition, treatment and uses of digestate, feed-in tariffs and grid connection, EU & UK policy, plus an update on current research.
Speakers will include: Dr Phil Hobbs, North Wyke Research; Dr David Chadwick, North Wyke Research; Dr Allan Butler, University of Exeter, Andy Bull, Severn Wye Energy Agency.
Following the presentations there will be a demonstration of the AD plant at Kemble Farm. Please note that this is not a small scale plant but will provide valuable information about AD technology.
This event, which includes lunch and refreshments, is FREE to farmers and rural businesses with a holding number. For everyone else there will be a fee.
